Uganda is located in Africa. Bordering countries are Sudan to the north, the Democratic Republic of Congo to the west, Rwanda and Tanzania to the south, and Kenya to the east. Uganda has in the south part of Lake Victoria, the largest lake in Africa.

Ssese Islands, 84 islands in Lake Victoria. The few tourists who visit the islands are welcomed by the inhabitants in an extremely friendly manner.

Jinja, the source of the Nile. 80km from Kampala, is accessible by bus.

Climate: The climate is tropical-warm, but clearly cooled by the altitude. Therefore, it is neither excessively hot, nor particularly cold. Temperatures vary between 25 and 30°C during the day, at night it is usually around 17°C. The extreme values are between 10 and 35°C.
