Red Cross Course of Touralpin Touristik on November 14, 2015

In a 4-hour course at our office in Thumersbach, we were taught basic first aid skills.

The 19 participants are told over and over again that you can’t go wrong with first aid.

The important thing is to help!

Actions taken in the first few minutes can mean the difference between life and death.

Without the first aider’s hand movements, any further help may be too late.

Therefore, it is important to know how to act properly in emergency situations. The necessary handles and measures

Train and repeat regularly to be prepared for an emergency.

We were very interested in what we were doing and learned breath control, consciousness control, stable lateral position

as well as cardiac massage and ventilation. It was especially interesting to work with a defibrillator.

The device tells you everything you need to do and gives you more confidence.

At the end of the course we were allowed to visit the control center of the Red Cross and the “Nef”.

After a good snack at the Hotel Victoria, the course ended successfully for us participants.
