Malaysia is divided into the western parts of the country, located on the southern Malacca Peninsula, and East Malaysia in the northwest of the island of Borneo. Both parts of the country are about 600 kilometers apart and are separated by the South China Sea.

The many immigrants have brought their cooking habits with them to Malaysia and thrown them into one big pot. The result is an exciting, exotic mixture.
